Finally went in for a dyno, i got ten runs in and the best ended up being

260hp 271tq

Little disappointed but o well the car runs well thats all im going to ask for.
The A/F was pretty close to 12.7 the whole time. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask. I want to know what people think. Thanks Steven

Those numbers do seem a little low, but there is often a variance among dynos, so at another place you may put down more power.

Some longtubes would compliment the cams for sure, but aside from that, you should look at your track times if you have any.

MPH at the track is a better indicator than a dyno of how your car is really doing.

Also, 12.7 is safe, but it could be leaned out a little more to a 12.9 or 13.0 for a NA car.

Auto or 5-speed? may seem low, but one dyno around here is a heartbreaker. Showed me like 18rwhp lower than another - but that's an extream case. A guy around here with a S197 always gets 297rwhp wherever he goes (+/- only like 3rwhp) , never touches 300 - there he got 283rwhp.

Post up the dyno sheet, maybe we can spot a problem there.

What type of dyno (Mustang)? The hp looks low and the tq seems way low. I have an MPH Tune on my car as well and my #s come from their in-house Dynojet.

Definitely on the very low end - have you checked compression on all cylinders? I actually pulled a few more HP than that on a DynoJet dyno after clearing that garbage out of the typhoon intake runners. But with the 270 cams you should be at, at least 280 rwhp would be my guess. Do you have underdrive pulleys? Short Ram Air might be hurting you as well- most of the short kits have aluminum piping which soaks with heat tremendously. After switching from short MAC to a JLT fenderwell my intake air temp dropped 30 degrees in the summer florida heat. That's well worth the 200 bucks. Also - if that is a canned / email tune then ditch it. Get your local tuner to tune you on the spot. Mustang brand Dyno's are supposed to be heart breakers from what I've heard and seen. Might be a silly question, but have you checked for exhaust leaks? Recently changed fuel filter/air filter etc. Your car has the parts to be putting out much more HP but something is clearly inhibiting that. Keep us posted.

I would guess around 10 more hp....you can see my old numbers with my old setup from MPH...

I had p and p heads, and a stroke to 302...and put down 307 rwhp...

I would go somewhere else and get an actual dyno tune...

Also just thought of this - with those 270's (which are similar to a stage 2 cam) you may be pushing the limits of your stock fuel injectors. Maybe not though. Just another idea.

Not at that power he isn't. Unless it's low on power because he's running a mixture of like 10:1, lol.

You never know with those canned tunes - the bamachips tune I got by email made me run super rich and left that nice black dust on my rear bumper and decklid.

Shorty headers for one....but thats still seems low.

My GT with stock manifolds and VT stg 1 cams made 274/292. After LTs, windage trey, and UD pulleys my car put down 292/302.

But 260 is REALLY low....check your plugs and check your compression. Something isnt right...could be the tune though.

Im still working on getting the cams degreed, im pretty sure that is the problem. I tried once but it was nt intake centerline method that most people use, and I was tring to find top dead center with a dial indicator and it was jsut to cold for the dial. We tried at least 3 hours a day for 4 days to get the same reading, even tried a different dial but it was just to cold and the dial would stick and screw everything up. The point came that i needed the car back so i put it back together.
