Just got back from the track tonight and I am very freakin' siked about my time. CHeck out the time slip.

The temp. was very cool and I hooked up pretty good. Tell me what you think.

My time is the left lane. 14.060 @ 100.70 mph. It may not seem terribly fast, but I had not ran at the track in about, 6 or 7 years. Forgot just how much fun it is.

Dammit! I tried to add the pic here!
OK, just added attachment.

Well, I am kicking myself now, because I was shifting at 5500K. I could have taking higher, right? Like to about 6K, maybe 6100K?

You think the RPM difference may have pushed me into the 13s?

nope 5500 is about perfet for an almost stock gt. There really is not much power above 5500.

Reason I ask is because my buddy ran with his 03 GT which is completely stock, except for a K&N drop in. He even has the stock 245/45/17 Gatorbacks on. He shifted at 6000-6100K PRM and he ran a 14.2 and he spun.
I figure that I should be faster then him. He took it higher all night and he ran pretty quick.

yup drop those 60fts to a 2.0 and you'll see high 13s....find a way to get down to a 1.7 and you should find yourself in the company of the mid 13second crowd!!

Nice runs though! That MPH is cookin' and shows you seem to be shifting it where it needs to be shifted.

Time slip on the left was against my buddy's WS6 that has SLP ram air and SLP full exhaust. First time at track for him.

Time slip on right was against some Jetta. I think it was a 1.8 turbo. I think.
