ok here's how much i suck... first time to the track this year with my new top end. i didnt spray this time. i got 7 runs in. not too happy

iron gt 40's
explorer upper/lower
155 fuel pump
a/c and smog delete
slipping king cobra with warped flywheel
stock 2.73 gears
exhaust, intake, ignition yada yada all the other blot ons


STOCK-throttle body, mass air, and injectors
race weight 3406 with me in it and 1/2 tank gas
$60 kumhos from tirerack

run #1 - 14.1@100mph 2.3 sixty foot
run #2 - 16.6@90mph 2.5 sixty (spun 1st and 2nd)
run #3 - 14.1@100mph 2.3 sixty
run #4 - 14.2@100mph 2.4 sixty
run #5 - 14.3@99mph 2.5 sixty
run #6 - 14.1@100 2.3 sixty
run #7 - 14.1@100 2.4 sixty

i went 14.1@100 with the same sixty foot 4 times i know this combo can do a 13

Get the 60' to a 2.0 and there are 13.6's in it at least!

ok to answer a few things....

-sitting under my bed is a new king cobra, billet flywheel, and all new drivetrain bolts, hardware etc.

-4.10's are my next upgrade

-i have a spare set of stock wheels that i will mount some et streets on when ever funds allow

-and with spray, gears, and et's i plan on a 12 sec pass

sounds possible.

are you talking about the ET Street Radials or those ET Streets (similiar to the slicks)

THOSE THINGS ARE GUNNA HOOK!

with a good burn out and the correct tire pressure, of course.

you'll def be hitting low 13s maybe high 12s after you install all that stuff

u better plan on some hardened axles and a new diff with those things.....but theres definately a 12 sec pass in the near future....im thinkin at least 13.7 w/o spray.......

just work on those 60' times. Fix your clutch, if you get slicks, or drag radials your going to break an axle in no time, unless you upgrade.

With just tires and a 100 shot you will see high-mid 12s. also, why dont you spend the extra $150 and get a used throttle body (70mm) and/or a 75mm MAF? you got the heads/intake to make the car breathe good, but you arent flowing enough are INTO them.
good choice on the 4.10s too.

well i originally planned on doin the meter and 70mm throttle body, but decided i was gonna save all my money and only by gears and tires. then i was gonna get meter, injectors, and tb and a blower somewhere near the end of the summer. But, do you think a meter and tb will do that much for me, if so ill pick them up(i have stock injectors now).
