what is the proper way to beef up the engine before the nitrous?
how much would these mods cost?
do you prefer NO2 or a supercharger?
to get buy on a stock motor you need.
wide open throttle switch
rpm window switch
colder burning plugs
and you SHOULD get a tune, but some people dont.
that will get you by on a stock motor, but like mentioned before, its a gamble no matter what.
to be safe, you need stronger pistons and rods.
as for the blower/nitrous/turbo argument, none is better than the other, its all about preferance..
they are all equally dangerous if used properly, a stock motor is in danger at 400 hp regardless of how you get it.
nitrous, cheaper, car will still run and drive nicely when not on the bottle, and is better on gas when not on the bottle.
blower, easy install (compared to turbo), has power all the time, worst on gas out of the 3.
turbo. most expensive, hardest install, but will make the most power, and has better gas milage than blown cars usually. another perk of the turbo is your car wont be AS loud as a equal HP car either NA or blown, as the turbo is in your exaust, it quiets the exaust down quite a bit.
