I'm assuming a rubber plug goes in here.. this is the underside of trunk spare tire well, have not installed new gas tank yet (but I'm going to need a new plug for here before I do), I bought the rubber body plug kit from LMR, but there isn't a plug listed for this... I'm not sure what happened to the one in there now, looks like most of it is missing....

I blasted and epoxy primed under under the car, then painted, then went over it with the POR bed-liner... gave it a nice texture.

No don't think it gets a rubber plug. Mine is original and all it has is a thin paper or plastic covering

Nope. No rubber plug goes there. It's covered by some sort of plastic/tape. Yours looks to be a deteriorated, painted over version of that.

hmmm really, that is very surprising.... thats a pretty big hole.... I can't believe they didn't put one of those rubber body plugs in there.... hmmm I have to find something to cover that before I install the new tank.

Piece of dynamat applied on each side should seal it up.
