I'm almost done installing my new 3.73's in my 93 5.0 notchback aod and I'm a little confused?!?!? I bought a new speedo gear from FORD and tried to install it but there is no speedo gear where it's supposed to be?? I've installed them on the t-5's. When I pull the speedo/thottle sensor off all that's there is a shaft with what looks like a magnetic pickup? What are my options for correcting the MPH. Is it hard to take the tranny apart to install the gear or is there an easier way. I've looked up the speedcal but they only list them for the 94+ mustangs. ALL and any help would great!! I've tried to search the forums but nothing seems to be related.
