What are my options?

if she's a tranny then... well I'd do her.... it..
Okay, so here's the plan. I have a spare 302 that I want to get up to par and drop in my GT. I plan to get it fully machined ( bored .30, line hones, milled, dipped, etc. ) and add the TFS Track Heat kit ( cam, heads, intakes, timing set ). Then the typical upgrades like throttle body, injectors, fuel pump, under drives, tuned, etc.

My questions are these...
1) Should I go ahead and stroke it too? If so, to what CID and who makes the kit?
2) What pistons should I use and still use 93 octane pump gas?
3) Anything I'm missing?
4) Any HP/TRQ estimates?

-All- other things being equal.

More stroke = more power = less life.

But, not all motors are built differently, someone probably has a 347 that outlasted someone else's 306. There are so many things that go into it. If you want to increase your chances for longer life, and that's more important to you than power. Go with a 306 or a milder stroke than a 347, such as a 331.l
