I have 18 inch wheels front and back. Right now I have 255/35/18's up front. Saleen's came with that size and 265/35/18's also. I don't need a real sticky tire and I'm not a big fan of a wider tire up front since they seem to track road grooves. I never had that problem with the 245/45/17's on my old car. So I was thinking of 245/40/18's up front. Anyone ran these on a lowered car? Just wondering if they may be too tall.
I like answering my own questions. Anyway I put 245/40/18's on and they fit fine. A little more ground clearance so I won't drag bottom so much but stance is still great. The sacrifice in width is negligible. I may replace the 315/30/18's on the back with some 275/35/18's when the time comes.
