Nitto 555 i have had for a long time and they are sweet.

...i have to get new tires soon and might get something different.

I am really looking into those new Falken Azenis RT-615......i am really leaning toward those

I have Yokohama AVS ES100 275/40/17 and they have great grip. They are not as expensive as others and just as great. Although treadwear is 180 they last. Also they are wider than others with the same size. That is what really sold me. They look real wide for 275.

Today I seen the tires I will be getting on a Camaro Z28 and I
think they look very nice.I belive the design of the Nitto 555's
looks quite awesome to me.

If you drive in weather below 50 deg. F, don't even look at the Kumho Supra 712's.

I just picked up KWD-2's as replacements.

From what I hear the Kumho tires are cheap and junk.I never used
those tires though. Can anyone post pics of your Nitto 555's?

Don't waste your money on Nittos...
They are ok when they are new and in dry warm weather but they absolutely suck in the rain and cold weather. I tried a few sets before i switched to the GSD3's....they are good if your poor but look elsewhere if you have alittle money to spend.

My 712s were not bad on the really hot streets of Vegas but the moment it rained they sucked majorly. Now that is comparing to the stock Goodyear Gatorbacks. The Kumhos were better. And only $115 a tire.

I'd like to try the KWD2s.

What is better if money isn't an issue... for daily driving...? Bridgestone?

I have very bald Nitto 555's on my car right now and I agree in warm
weather they are very good but, in cold weather they are not good at
all and you will lose traction or spin your tires really easy.I think the look
of the tread and tires looks awesome though.I see them going for 150 or
more everywhere I look not too cheap.

i meant the nittos were good if your on a budget...the GSD3's were not cheap..mine were @250 each

My car's an all-year round driver and sees occasional snow which means dedicated good-weather tires like the Nitto's are right out. I got Continental ContiExtreme Contacts. They seem to be about the top-rated high-performance tire that is also good in snow.
I like them. Very good dry and wet traction, adequate snow ability. Not wild about the longevity though. Been about 15,000 miles and I'll probably need new tires by 20k.

Well I can give you some input on what tires you dont want... As of yet I dont think I have ever had a really good performing tire, but at the same time I am a bargain shopper.

Falken Ziex's on my 96 Cobra-Worst tire I have ever ran, would never even consider these again...

Kuhmo Ectansa's on my 96 Cobra-These tires were really cheap, I got them shipped to my door for like $400.00 and they felt really good when they were brand new, but once they started to wear the performance consistantly dropped. Even for the price I was disappointed and will never get them again either.

Bridgestone Potenza's on my 00 GT-These tires were OK they were very predictable but at no time did they ever feel like a performance tire. Traction was poor on dry conditions, soo poor than they didnt fell all that different in the rain. They felt like tires I would run a Taurus. The one thing that was really good about these tires was the sidewall. I ran over a nail and basically my tire was totally flat and I could barely even tell the tire was low. They did wear extremely well, but for the price I would never have them again either.

Sumitomo HTRZ's on my 00 GT-I just put these on my car with my new wheels 3 days ago so its still way too early to judge them. First impression however, I am very pleased.

I hear ya bro... I opened up a Goodyear credit account just to get 25% off my set of four tires. And I was one day late on the third and last payment and they charged me $35! So there went some of my savings...
