put a mark on the drive shaft, and spin the tire one full rotation and count how many times that mark goes around and that's your ratio.... Some cars also have a tag stuck on the differential cover that says the gear ratio on it too.
2.73 for most GT's and I suppose a few got 3.08's but I think the 3.08's were a cobra option. at least the cobra I worked on had em. My 94 GT had the 2.73's. If your not sure, just change your gear lube and it's stamped right on the ring.
I think most had 2.73's, but 3.08 might have been an option. My cobra had 3.08's, I found this out by lookin at a metal tag that was held on by one of he differential cover bolts. It said 3L 08, meaning 3.08.
