on the stock heads under the rockerarms where you wuold put shims there is about a 2 inch long peice of u-channel with 2 holes for the rockers to bolt through. I know there a guide plate of some sort but i cannot seem to find them anywhere.
so if you know where i can buy a set of these or a part number or atleast thier real name then that would help.
are they required?
or can i use normal pushrod guide plates? and would i need the normal or the raised guide plates?
im going to be putting on some 1.6 rr pedestal mount rockers on an engine im building and i dont have those parts, i will be needing to use shims for the rocker arms due to using a TF stage 1 cam.I have ford racing stock lenght pushrods hardened for guide plates.
