What are your goals for your mustang?

pretty simple

1.to get 250 at the wheels
2.hi flow cat x-pipe
3.finish the tint in the rear
4.space the rear wheels out 1"

thats pretty much it

only get to drive it on weekends, and just bought a home. so sad to say the mustang has went down on the priority list. (for now)

My goals(which i pretty much HAVE to attain considering I just sold my truck and now have nothing to drive) are mainly to get my engine back in my cobra! That alone should put me at the high 400s at the crank N/A. Hopefully with in the year I'll have a roll-cage, a new transmission, and the new nitrous kit installed. I don't think I'll have any problems being in the 10s with a decent set of tires. Then again, if I'm not that low, I'll be really pissed that I spent about 15 grand on my engine...:p

my goals this summer are installing these gears i have, installing some Stage 2 cams, and then getting a tune and a 1/4 pass under my belt.

Long term goals though is just over 300RWHP N/A.
Once i reach that, i'll leave it be, and start saving for a cobra. :)

My plans are as follows.........Nothing but routine maintainence and wheels and tires. I plan on driving my stang for another year or two at the most and then upgrade to something that is faster, wether is be a 06 GTO, 03/04 Cobra nobody knows, I just dont want to dump a buch of money in to the "not so friendly to bolt on" 4.6 2v.

finish up my suspension, basically put the rest of the MM catalog in. build a motor, teksid block with Darton sleeves, big bore forged high compression stroker motor. ported PI heads, and cams. exhaust JBA shorties, bassani O/R X, try to get some Borla Stinger mufflers and make a custom catback. looking at one of the new Pro Performance intake manifolds.

once i get the GT the way i like it i will probably buy a F250 or F350 PSD and do the propane/nitrous deal with that for a tow rig. i still want to build a max performance blown 4v and stuff it into a fox body for american iron extreme. there are no engine limiting in that class, noone currently runs a blown motor, i want to try.

Well my motor has about 750 miles on it now and the block is still a little tight.Hopefully when it gets about 1500 miles on it i can get it back on the dyno and advance the timing a little more and make over 300 to the wheels. Its making 297/327 right now.Im just hoping I can beat hotmustang331's times he ran at the track since me and him are making around the same power.I dont plan on staying NA forever and im hoping to be able to buy that vortech tuner kit within the next year.

GoBabyvroom how loud are your single chambers! Mine are F'n loud as heck!!!! I love em!:nice:

Get my car to about 300 HP N/A and then thats it really...im not spending a lot of my savings to make the car insane fast....just want a mid-high 12 second car that sounds good and has looks to match.

My goal for now is to get these damn parts (pi head, intake, comp 262ah's) installed by the end of june. Looking to hit 270rwhp. Those are my short term goals. As for long-term, I want to hit the 300rwhp mark and dip into the 12's N/A, get the car to handle decent (h&r's, bilteins, etc.), and get a few appearance upgrades (rims, cobra front bumper, cowl hood).

I want mid-12 second car that can take the twisties with no problem, be enjoyable to cruise around top-down and straight into a car show..

Hopefully I'll be at that stage within a year. I have the spray, it should do high 12s with traction.. Suspension is taken care of, just need a few more body mods and itll be presentable at a show.
