What are your opinions on aftermarket fenders?

I need to replace my two front fenders... just wondering if anyone has had experience with aftermarket fenders. I did get one aftermarket fender but it seems like low quality, got bent up real easily. Anyway, I either was gonna go to the junkyard and get factory fenders, or go with aftermarket. What are your opinions?

I have an aftermarket fender on my car, not by choice but you cant really tell the difference. I beleive you should be able to buy factory ones still, and really only a few bucks more. Most autowreckers are rip offs for just a little more money you have new.

go with factory fenders, you know the fit will be good. if u go with junkyard fenders and they're different color you'll have to have them stripped, prepped, painted. could cost alot more than just having a bare factory fender painted.

I too would either use a factory replacement or a glass fender which I could work out if needed to fit right. I've always heard some of the aftermarket fenders are not much more than pop cans.
