What are your Upshift and Downshift points?

So, in my regular commute, I am going from a 5k upshift/3k downshift to a 2k upshift/1k Downshift. Just to see what it does for gas mileage. What does everyone here shift at?

u used to normally shift at 5k? WOW!did you run around town with the foot to the floor?

I usually try to keep it well below 3k while cruising...you should see a nice difference in gas mileage.

Throw a nice rev and downshift to 2nd at 45-50mph Gone. (Stock gear ratio)

I upshift at 14,000 and NEVER downshift.

Actually, when racing i shift at 5,000, when cruising around 2000-3000. I usually coast and brake, to save my tranny and clutch instead of downshifting.

i run a powerglide with a 5k stalll and never get out of first in town.
