FWIW I never liked Hawk pads either.
Ford OEM or Bendix CTS Ceramic for me.
The Bendix Semi Metallic (one down the line from Ceramic) suck BTW.
Dust and squeal and they don't come with the clips, grease etc like the Ceramics do.

The Ford OEM pads have really low dusting and will last
quite a long time.I never heard a sound from them either.

I like the Bendix Ceramic pads. Advanced sells them with a lifetime warranty. They stop great, and the dust they produce is very easy to clean up. Have Everlast Gold's on my Ranger and they are beyond hell to clean up. The "dust" nearly bonds to the wheels and turns what should be a simple clean-up into a one hour per front wheel chore... The next replacement will be ceramics on it as well... We are running them on all our vehicles (except for my ranger) and have been extremely satisfied.

yup. I believe the GTs get PBR as well.

I used Performance Frictions and they work well. BUt being a friction pad they work much better when they are warm. so braking in the rain and cold need a little more time.

Cobra Brake Upgrade for me here shortly then they will be reloaded with PBR pads if I ever get that many miles on it.

i got the Brembo pad and they SUCK!!!! lots of squealing and brake dust like you wouldnt beliveve

Yes only 1 squeels though and its only at a certain pedal position, but it was due to a very small error I made that I didnt correct before bedding them in.

I got mine from www.summitracing.com for $76 I beleive.

I highly reccomend them.

They stop good period but when they heat up after just one agressive stop they really bite hard...

Very little dust as well.

+1 on Advanced for the pads.
Dust is easy to clean like you say.
It's not "sticky" like the semi-metallic type dust (for lack of a better description) and it just hoses off.

Don't go near the Bendix semi-metallic pads though because they squeak and dust is everywhere.
The price difference is about $10.00 so it's not worth it anyway.
They were out of stock when I made the mistake.

Raybestos Ceramic front and rear pads. I have Chrome Bullits and I get almost NO DUST. They stop good too. The Raybestos pads on my 96 Cobra are semi-metallic, and I get waaay too much brake dust and it stops the same as my 81 notch with PBR brakes.

I read a post somewhere that a guy had two sets of Motorcraft pads come apart on him in a row.

I've been using Lomandi KevlarMetallic Pads from Canada I bought off Ebay but I can't find them right now. Glad I bought an extra set. They were running me about $75 front and rear shipped. They are quiet and don't dust to bad. The best thing about them is you can use them on track with cooling ducts. Without cooling ducts they will have accelerated wear but still don't fade until they go metal to metal. (ask me how I know) LOL
