Mine is changing the fuel filter, I just love getting the gasoline shower. Any tricks on avoiding this? The other thing is anti-seize, I can't open my can without getting it all over me. I think I see a trend here.

I've broken sockets, usually after the stores have closed. Doing the same job twice, dozens of times.

Finishing a job and ending up with an extra bolt. :(
I really hate that 1.

not having the right tools
That's my excuse to buy; "Babe, I have a job to do, I need a tool to do it properly".

1. I'm usually on my own. Extra hand or 2 is helpful now & then. 2. See above quote on tools. 3. Headers, blower bracket are some things that come to mind.

cold weather, not having enough parking (1 parking spot, 4 cars)
Nothing like wrenching when it's really cold, you don't feel the cuts til after you thaw.

I hated those days. I just wish I had a 3 car garage or a shop.

No Experience :(
That usually comes with time.:D

broken stuff.. my car was done completely wrong by someone.. wrong oil everywhere.. wrong bolts, nuts.. all kindsa crap.. burnt up trak lok.. plenty o things lol

Never actually having to work on it

My stang now has been the most reliable car ive owned out of 6.

But, when it comes to performance upgrades and stuff.. i suppose the most annoying this is simply not understandind why I paid 500 bucks for a part I had to mod to get it to fit properly..

other than that my father is a mechanic and drag racer .. so we got a large garage and every tool imaginable when I need it... :nice: not many problems with that
