i have ported gt40 heads, cobra intake, 1.7 rr, 65mm tb, CAI, and an e303... my dyno was 265/304. im thinkin with the single pattern e303 i might be leaving a little on the table so ive been doing the same research you are.... and lookn at the same exact cams. i have notched pistons tho so pvc isnt a problem. e303 does sound and run well though.

most of the cars I have seen dyno in the 275-280rwhp range with that setup (with a stick)
everybody hates on the letter cams but this is the one type of setup the e-cam actually works well in.
Are there better cams, of course. Probably not at the $80 you can pick up a used e for but the e would probably make within 15-20hp of the other OTS cams.
15-20 hp loss is a TON to lose to save 50-100$ after spending all that coin on head porting.
so what you're saying is that cars have a 75% drivetrain loss to the rear wheels and that 20hp is 5 at the wheels...lol.
It's thinking like that which is why you see posts all the time...where'd my HP go. Wrong combo's built.
