what cams should I go with, they are going in my Pi heads before they are put on the car, I am looking for a cam that I wont have to change anything, but still pick up some power.
VT Cams (stage 1s). You wont have to change the springs with the stage one, and people have reported netting 33rwhp from them. I think BLKSTEEDA has them.
for you especially i would stay away from comp with your application. comp has had some clearance issues eith their cams. & since you have a head swap & the 98s have a flater pistons i would prolly avoid them. VT makes a great cam. i have their stage 1 cams & could be happier with them. i have a clip of them floating around here somewhere, i'll find it & post it in here for you
sorry it took me so long to get back around to this, i missed it somehow.
i paid around 550 for the cams. the install difficulty really depends on how mechanically inclined you are. & also my heads are stock too, aside from the cams fo course
