wat can one of our model motors be biult to put out and still be a reliable every day driver. i was just wanting to know has anyone gotten a stock 94 95 gt motor up to 400rwhp and it could still maintain ever day driveability.

GT40 heads and a decent blower/turbo should be able to hit the 400RWHP mark...there's a possibility the stock cam could support this too (anybody?). This can be done as a daily driver, and it will be reliable if (big if) you get an excellent tune, know your way around the engine, spend a decent amount of time getting the bugs out of the system...oh and keep the boost down

aftermarket aluminum heads on a full H/C/I with FI has enough potential to destroy the block at over 500RWHP. Most people keep the tune conservative in order to not grenade their block

then there's 331/347 strokers...

yeah, there's alot that can be done with our little 302. you can stroke them, you can boost them, or both.

but for naturally apirated,a 400 hp combo is probably not going to have the best street manners.

500 rwhp will be about block splitting point.
Course, that is like 600 some horse.
I hope to be pushing it....

Im making 415 with the stock cam and computer. The car drives just like it is stock except with a butt load more power. I still get 23-24mpg on the highway too. A better intake, more aggressive tune, and a few more lbs of boost and I could easily make 450rwhp.
