What can I do will the Heads are off

Clean the carbon deposits off the pistons and take the heads apart and clean them.

take a shower/ get a beer


take pictures to prove your car was appart, make sure your lady gets the right angle so it looks like your working..

port out your exhaust side of the heads alittle

I would just spend most of the time cleaning as much stuff as you can. The cleaner everything is the better, and the better it looks. There are tons of things you can do while the heads are off. It just depends if you wanna do it, wanna spend the money, and if the car really needs it.

just leave the heads off and let the bores get nice and rusty

new valve guid seals and clean everything. Thats what I did while my heads were off. Paint stuff too.
