Didn't mean to get his thread shut down. He deserves more answers. Here was his original post.

This is only directed to those who had both a 5.0 and 4.6.

What motor would you take? Are they that big of a pain in the @ss to work on?
Do the motors have good after market suport yet , I know they didnt back when i owned my fox.
I owned a fox body 5.0 and i dont think i want to jump to a 4.6, But i defintly dont want another fox. So its making things hard on me finding that good 94-95 stang. And if i do buy a 4.6 i want 98-99 corect or is the PI head swap a pita? and is it worth it?

i'm selling my 5.0 to get a 97 cobra now...i went to a dealership and drove a 94 GT and a 96 GT while i was looking around an the 96 seemed so much smoother reving, smoother shifting and sharper on turn in I decided to make the move. I'll miss the easy to work on 5.0 but imo the 5.0 foxes are more for weekend cruising or straight line racing, i'm looking for a newer, more convient car for my old butt.

ive owned an 89lx 306 5spd for a while now, and hands down the 4.6 in my 97gt is a much better engine. the 4.6 has much brodder torque curve verses the 5.0, and does rev smoother and some what quicker. i honostly think that the 4.6 is easier to work on, but thats my opinion. there like anything else until you take that leep we are hesitant to try something different.
