My dad bought it new when I was only 2. I grew up loving it and knew it was what I always wanted. OF curse playing the old NFS games(the ones that were actually good) I always loved the silver countach!

Euro cars....:notnice:

Yep, never had an interest in all these fancy cars you guys are showing. For me it was 60s Chevelles, Camaros, Novas, 442s, and the AC Cobra. I'd say the ones that stick out the most are the '70 Chevelle SS454, and the '69 Copo ZL1 Camaro. Just about any 60s American muscle car was cool, but I was (still am) mainly a GM guy. I didn't start liking foxes till I was maybe 12 or so, but it was definitely not dream car material. I kind of lost interest in the old muscle cars when there was a lot less of them going fast, and a lot more being stock resto garage queens. It seems like '80s and '90s cars are the main attraction for going fast now, so that's what I'm into!

I remember the 87-93s as a little kid roaming around town. I loved the sound of the 5.0s with exhaust work done. The older I got the more I wanted one and finally bought my '89 LX Hatch when I was 20. It's only recently I got into notches.

Initially the 426 Charger... Damn the Duke Brothers. Then middle school the Lambo then in high school the 70 Mach 1... I didn't even care what motor it had in it... just any Mach 1. Now that I have the Mach I would love to have a 3rd gen rx7 or the last gen Supra but today... any car that gets over 45mpg... hehe.

Most of what you named is pretty fancy and more expensive than the Lambo or 959. Didnt I just see a 427 AC Cobra go for a couple mil on Barret Jackson? Hell a POS 79 Hurst Olds went for $59,000 :nonono: And $350,000 for a 67 Vette. $200000 for a used 89 Countosh (spelling) 5000S seems like a steal:rlaugh:

Uh, yea thats because they are classics now...in the 80's they werent worth much at all. My dad bought and sold that kinda stuff all the time, dime a dozen. How much did the 80's Lambos go for? Iam sure around 50 times more. Literally. Back in the day those cars didnt cost much, all the euro cars were WAY more then the american cars. AC cobra is a different story, it went for that amount of money because theres only a handful left and for possibly other reasons. Besides stuff that sells on that show is way more then they would sell for at a car show for example, just people with millions burning a hole in their pockets.

Fox-body !

When I was younger I always wanted a fire-truck lol. Well besides that i wanted my dad's 86 GT . It was the first car i was ever in and i remember sitting in the driver's seat as my dad washed it. It would of been my car if he didn't sell it for his current '70 Mach 1.
