Im thinking about just throwing a carb and intake on my spare engine and running it in my blown car (stock E7s, E303 cam, longtubes). What size carb and intake do I need? Would a 600 Holley DP be plenty of fuel for now? Do I need to get a single plane or dual plane manifold (3.73 gear, C4 with 3500 stall, launches around 3000rpm). Will my Walbro 255lph fuel pump work fine with the carb if I use my 5-8psi regulator or do I need a Holley Blue? Trying to setup a very simple NA combo that hauls ass. Thanks,

axistang

Do you mean using it with the blower or no?

Well if your not going to do the blowthrough thing your a nerd. If your going to stay NA with a stock engine then run a Road Demon 625. Its a great carb and will provide plenty of gas for you. I'd say max would be 650 cfms for a 302 because anything else would be too large. As for intake, do a dual plane like an Edelbrock RPM. Funny, I have the exact carb and intake you need. Its a 650 Holley DP, and the RPM intake. I've run 13.8 with a stock 302 with exhaust, E303, RPM intake and Road Demon carb. Great engine combo till it got stolen.

i am partial to the edelbrock manifolds like the performer and the RPM, i didnt like the holley carb for a daily driver, so i bought an edelbrock couldnt be happier,

You could try the HEI swap on a stock carb'd dizzy from an older 302. I have a 600cfm double pumper sitting on an RPM airgap.. Finishing the spark and fuel lines this weekend.

The airgap intake I think (the more I look at it) is a Performance Products intake... oh well. Anyway everything fits under the hood, I had to put in a huge air filter for it to sit under my scoop.

Performer RPM-air gap and a speed demon 650. You can't go wrong! The Road demon 625 would work good.
