what catback for me

I have a 1997 gt convertible, it has Mac Long tubes and mac h-pipe w/ cats.
I'm tired of the drone from the flowmaster 40's, it was custom made and welded with the flows and pipping. Could I use any catback on the market and it would hook up with no problems or do I have to get one made?

What catbacks are good on the wallet but good on the ears?

With your setup I would only go with either Magnapacks or MAC. Not sure how bad the drone is on the MAC's, but with the magnapacks you should get very little drone. Not to mention the packs sound awesome. As far as it hookin up I couldnt tell you for sure.
