Its driving my absolutely crazy, my front passanger side sits higher than the driver side front! The rear tire/fender gap is pretty even, but up front the driver side sits about 1/4-1/2 lower than the passanger side. Anyone know what could cause this?

When I first bought the car it did this as well, so I swapped out the springs and shocks/struts and it still does it! I am going to get under it tomorrow and see if the spring is properly sitting in the control arm - can anyone else recommend anything else to check out??? Is it possible the ball joints are going out?

This is what causes it.

ahh, no, no, no, and no. LOL. Never been in an accident, struts and shocks are all fine and the same length. I have no Idea whats going on with it, but it really gets on my nerves!

Could the ball joints be bad?

Factory tolerances suck. Your ball joints could be bad... Jack up the car and tug up/down on the wheel, if it moves up/down a significant ammount (not suspension travel) then that could be an issue. You could always buy some coilovers...or airbags :rlaugh:

Alright, well I guess I will just have to live with it. I went out today and took everything apart and put the springs back in with no lower isolators (so I could make sure they are sitting in the pocket correctly) and I still have the same damn problem. I guess this is just the way its going to be!

I've got pretty much the same problem you do on my 04 GT with the same suspension setup. I've had it aligned and even asked the shop about it. They said some cars just do that for some reason. Guess I could take out the left isolators to make it even :nonono:

Mines like that too. About 1/4" differance. It's something no-one else will ever notice. Maybe the left side of the car is just heavier than the right. I repalced coil springs in a 70 Cutlass once, the front springs were marked left and right. I say just ignore it.
