What color would you paint 'em?

fr500's are getting played out. I had a set and never mounted them because everytime I turned around there was another fr500 wheeled car popping up. I am really starting to dig the looks of the pony wheels again. silver or chrome you cant go wrong. its classic and they are right up there with the 5.0 badge as defining a fox body mustang.

Yep, if I didn't have a 4 eye, I would have went with 17" Pony Rs in a heartbeat when I did my 5 lug swap. The reason I say that is I think Ponys look out of place on a 4 eye. You need wheels that look a little more retro on 4 eyes. But as far as aero nose cars go, Ponys look great, and they are nostalgic to the Fox. Period correct, if you will.

Giggity indeed. All I see on Foxes in my area are pony's though. That, or Cobra R's. A few 10 holes too. I'll probably just clean 'em real nice, shoot in silver, and hold out for the 5 lug conversion. Maybe a touch of darker, gunmetal gray in the inner parts of the rim itself.
