My brother in law just replaced the motor in his 96 GT automatic with a 4.6 out of a 01 GT. The car doesnt seem to be making the power it should and he is attributing this to the 96 computer trying to feed a motor that flows more air. Is the best way to fix this to upgrade to an 01 factory computer? Or to try a handheld programmer such as diablo etc.? Also if anyone knows a place in eastern NC where the computer could be reflashed and the car tuned please let me know. Thanks for the help!!
