I started my car up for the first time in a few days, and I heard a hissing noise come out of the leftside of the intake manifold. I checked all the hoses and nothing seemed to be loose. It sounds like air is leaking out of soewhere. The car runs and drives fine. I dont remember hearing the noise when I first got the car, but it could just be the supercharger and i am being paranoid...thanks.!

There is a vacuum operated valve on the left side of the supercharger that operates the out flow valve check that to see if it's making noise .Also check the two coolant hoses that run to the intercooler on the back side of the blower if any of the seals go bad you would hear a hissing noise back there as well.

Good luck..

Also on the left side (drivers side) of the intake towards the rear there is the EGR control valve. It is vacuum operated and if you are getting a bad reading from one of the 02 sensors it will open up and allow a vacuum. Usually though this is accompnied by low idle, maybe stalling, harder than normal to start, and check engine light.
