What Crate Motor -

my 306 is real streetable for a daily driver. its pretty tame when you want it to be, but everything is there if you want to stomp on it.

Prolly at the fly wheel, but you would get like 250-275 to the wheels.

Didnt you say you had a strong running motor? If so i dont see any reason to get a new engine. I would just get a h/c/i combo and be set.

but if you want the new engine approach...your going to pay for all this stuff to get done to your engine? All you need to pay for is to have the block machined. .030" over and check for a flat deck and your good. If you want to go the extra step have your rods and crank race prepped and balanced. From there it will be easy to assemble it all together. get 306 pistons, a new intake, heads, cam, pushrods, lifters, rockers, TB, MAF, injectors (if you wish to upgrade), bearings, and gaskets and your set. Everything else you can put the stockers back on. This way its like getting a brand new engine and a learning experience.

DSS is the way to go. The thing srceams.
