I am thinking about getting a set of 17x10.5 DD bullitt's to match the factory wheels. Is there a brand that matches the factory color really well? I don't really want to spend the extra money on buying a set of wheels for the front!

And where is the best place to pick them up at?

I would imagine all the bullitts produced by ford are the same (or intended to be) the same color. Surely someone has done this or atleast looked into it. If I was to replace all the wheels I would go with the black ones... but I am looking to save some money!

My 04 came with what I think look like anthricite bullitts from americanmuscle.com. My buddy got the 17x10.5s from there, in anthricite, and they look pretty close to my stock bullitts. Don't quote me on that though.

the Anthracite American Muscle rims will be a close match to the stock anthracite bullits, but not perfect.

I have also heard that there is a difference in the earlier bulitt wheels. I would call and ask, surely they know how close they are.

The other thing to consider is the deep dish have a nice polished lip that is hard to match to the original ford rims.

There are two color OEM bullitt wheels

The 2001-2002 bullitt is lighter in color than the 2003-2004 bullitt.

The aftermarket bullitt wheels are modeled after the darker/newer 2003-2004 colors. The difference is quite noticable.

Also, there are differences in the hub shape and the level of polish in the lip.

I have pics showing the difference.

Can you post the pics? I believe you, I just want to see the difference. I figured that would be just too easy to get a set of rear wheels to slap some KDs on....

Only pic i have on my laptop

01-02 wheel on the left, replica wheel on the right. The color of the replica wheel is the same as the 03-03 bullitt color, so you can see the color differences between the years as well.

Also you'll notice the hub of the replica wheel is rounder while the OEM has little flares at the spokes and the polish on the lip is different as well
