What do i need to do to go from efi to carb?

Ok col, ill get the 85 distributor, if i cant fond an 85 ill get one out of a an earlier year mustang and have the steel gear put on it. As for the efi, im going to carb, just too much is needed to have a modded efi system. If i find an 85, ill grab as much of the parts to convert as possible. Might even grab the fuel tank while im at it, or just the pick up. I would also like to put some nice heads on this thing, but im not willing to swap pistons right now. Its frustrating owning an 86, flat top pistons, speed density efi, i just wish it were an 85 :bang:

You can get any duraspark III dist from a 302 if you dont find one from an 85 mustang, then press on the gear. You can also go to the parts store and order one up (85 muststang) instead of digging through graveyards.
Dont be afraid to check into the DUI ignition. Here is an example from summit that has the steel gear and ready to go for 302 roller engines.
