I have a Sony Xplod head unit in my thunderbird that says on the face that it is XM ready. Unfortunately I do not have the manual for the head unit handy because it's inside the car, which is bundled up for the winter (has a tarp strapped over it and such).

What I was wanting to know is, if I wanted to hook up XM on this car, what all would I need? I was told I would need a receiver and an antenna, but I don't know exactly what receiver I would need.

edit: Wait, I just found this-

Guess that answers my question, my CD player is on the list

yeah, that will work and it should come with a ant. unless its used, but it must be used in conjunction with brand specific Smart Digital Adapter or Digital Adapter Cable (p/n Terk XMDSON100 )so add another 65 bucks

You must have replied right as I was editing my original post...

I just found a kit, in the link above, for $65, that says it comes with the smart digital adapter. I assume that means it would have everything I need?
