What do i need to install a 95 f150 radio into a 89 mustang

Ot depends on if the sound system was the premium sound with the factory amp or not. My 89 van had the amp located in the center of the dash under ( what looked like ) a center dash speaker. You'd need the radio, the amp, and the amp to radio harness. I'm not sure if a premium radio will work without the amp. The radios all wire up the same and use the same aftermarket harnesses. ( if wiring in an aftermarket radio ). If you have the premium sound system, with the amp under the passenger seat, it should plug right in and work. If you don't, and the truck doesn't, it'll plug right up and work.

Is it an amplified radio, or non-amplified. Would need to see the plug configuration on the back.

See post #6 specifically in the above thread.

In terms of how to get thar radio in a Mustang? It's a square face faceplate, so you are lucky there. You'll need to track down the bottom plate from an 87-93 mustang radio to swap onto it to mount the cubby

Both those threads should have more than what you need
