Very Nice! I am glad to see this. I need to drop about 100 Lbs more from my 93 Bird, then will remove the P/S, and install a manual rack. Part of this is to give me room on the drivers side for either a Turbo, of Procharger. I will follow yous closely, since not many on that side.

Here is mine so far.

Cool

Nice looking v8 swap. Esp like the supercharger. Between me and the boys we've got 3 turbo t-birds, a shelby gt500, an SVO and 3 other stangs. Know where I can get a rt frt fender for an '88 turbo coupe?

I like the inst. panel. Are you running an electric speedo? I want to install one in my 90 lx so I can calibrate it rather than mess around with gears in the tranny, etc.

If the speedo is electric - how do you provide a signal for it? Will it read the signal from the standard t-5 VSS?

Its custom bent from the x-pipe back, everything in front is standard fox mustang parts. The mufflers are edelbrock stainless series, it sounds totally mean when sitting at a light....

Yes the speedo is electric. And yes it will read from the factory T-5 sensor. It just counts the pulses for 2 miles and converts to MPH.. You actually put it into a calibrate mode, drive the car a measured 2 mile distance, then voila, done. Any gear/tire changes and you got an accurate speedo... No messing around with the little gear in the tranny, trying to get it close...

Mike-

I do get a little bounce when I am slowing to a stop with the speedo, but i think its just the ford sensor in the tranny. I replaced it once in the begining when I had the factory speedo because of the same problem. Other than that it work very nicely...

While we're on the speedo subject, autometer sent me this reply when I asked about running an electric speedo in my lx:

Yes, our electronic programmable speedometers will work with your
application. However, you would need to run our Programmable Electric
Speedometer sender part #5292.

This is great news for me as my stock speedo and guages all suck and the tach and speedo make terrible noise so they got to go.
