I think its cool..Kinda race car ish..

The Dodge SRT-10 truck has a push button start..

Its easy to do.. You just need to disconnect the "starter solenoid" wire from the keyswitch and move it to a push button. You can still use the key to turn the ignition and accessories on..Just use the button for starting..

I think you can pretty much mount it wherever you want. I'd want one of those buttons with the safety cover though, those look pretty sweet

It would definitly be unique and cool, but imo not practical. If you have to put the key in and turn it anyway to unlock the steering and get the accesories going I dont see much of a point in it.

What mods have you done so far ?

Are you so damn lazy to turn a small key that you have to spend $$$ so that you can push a button??

Dumbest thing I've ever heard

You still have the turn the key to "on" or so I've seen. I think it's redundant and stupid

Although, if you by pass the key that'd be neat. Good luck on not getting it stolen.

thanks for all the input you guys. I dont have any mods done to my car yet...but hopefully in a couple weeks ill have my new xpipe system installed and my exhaust scavenged (spelling?).... i think itd be kool if my push button was up to the right of the steering wheel...but moved the key slot down by the mid console area....but ya thatll be a lil ways down the road...just making sure nobody heard any bad news about them besides opinion on looks....
