I found a 460 Big block 78,000 original miles, never rebuilt from and early Mercury, Granny car and the C6 to go with it for $100 thinking of buying it to build for my 72 coupe.

Is it worth it? engine is said to be complete carb to oil pan and Timing cover to flywheel. Ran when pulled from the car.

Heck yeah. I am just completing putting one in a 302 72 vert.

If you want a torque monster and don't mind the excess weight in the front end go for it. Price sounds very cheap.

if they are in decent shape, then the price is good.

I decided to pass on them. I really just need to decide on the priority of my projects on the mustang. The 351C is running pretty strong now, and I do have a replacement set of heads that I have almost $500 into already to swap on to it. And I rebuilt the trans last spring it now has probably less that 300 miles on the rebuild. I figure for the $100 I would spend on the 460 and C6, can go towards my new Cam and headers for the cleveland.
