Designed to match the power of Trick Flow heads.
Specifically designed to match the power characteristics of Trick Flow cylinder heads, these Track Heat cams for 5.0L/5.8L Ford engines offer state-of-the-art power at an affordable price. Starting as premium blank cores, the cams are checked for the proper hardness, then precision-ground to exacting tolerances. Instead of creating a steep, narrow powerband that falls off very quickly, the cams' powerband achieves maximum area under the curves of the Twisted Wedge heads.

Its fine for an OTS cam.

Does it fit your needs and combo? If you go with all trick flow stuff it will be well matched. I don't know the ramp rates on the TF cams. I don't think they are as aggressive as the Comp XE stuff though.

IIRC, I remember reading something about the TFS cams (TFS1 one in specific) that for as "mild" of a cam it is the ramp rates are on the aggressive stuff. That was a few years ago (at least) and I dont think the new line of XE was out yet...I have heard some good things about that line...about people likeing the results.

If you go with TFS heads and a TFS intake the cam will prob. better match as that cam is what is sold with the TFS top end kit for those heads and intake.
