I am ordering my drag radials tonight, I'm getting 275/60/15's for sure, i had nittos this size before and they were alright but i want to try out the Mickey Thompsons cause i heard they hook real nice. I dont drive the car every day or ever in the rain unless i get caught in a shower somewhere... so wet traction is no issue for me. I will be at the track a few times and am wondering how they will wear on me, how many miles have you guys got out of them? the nittos lasted pretty well but id like more traction, but i also dont wanna spend $320 on tires and have to buy a new set in 1500 miles

MT Drag Radials are the way to go. They drive like a hard radial on the street and have the best traction on the strip out there for a DR. I have about 3000 mi on mine w/ almost no wear. If I know it's going to rain I'll switch to my turbines but was caught in the rain once and they weren't as bad as when I had my ET Drags and nearly totalled my ride.

The MT's seem to be the good choice right now.

The mt's drag radails are the only ones i would buy. I have 275/50/15 on my 88 lx and what a difference it made. Its like driving a different car.

I have had good results with both the BFGs and MTs. I dont think you will go wrong either way.

Pony's are 16x7. If I remember correctly. Yes, you will have problems running the drag radials. Now street radials you can get away with 245's and quads by reversing the quads. Most drag radials come in 255/50r.

i had the 275/50 mt dr's on my 95 vert and pulled 1.72 60's on stock suspension with a stock, just bolt on motor, that's hooking, can't go wrong with the mickey's. and i got decent wear out of em put about 2,500 miles on em before i sold the car and they still had more than 3/4 tread left.
