What engine builder should I go with?

Well I recently acquired a 91GT and I was eventually thinking of replacing the motor. Who is a good engine builder to go with? I have been thinking of going with DSS or CHP but upon reading other posts I have not heard good things about CHP. I would like to hear other people's opinions.

If I need a new motor I'm going with Rick 91GT too. He's a Stangnet Vendor and he's on here all the time. It doesn't get more personal than that. Just tell him what you want and he can customize to your needs.

I've talked with Rick enough to have faith in his work. And I will be taking my heads to him when I get some free time

I wish.

FWIW, a guy over on the corral had his 9.3:1 Dart 331/AFR185/FTI cammed engine built by Rick (a few years back). The engine was built for a supercharger setup, but the owner decided to keep it N/A after it made over 400rwhp on the dyno and had excellent drivability on the street. There are numerous people over there running his engines without any issues to speak of. He has a good track record for sure.

rick built my 333 stroker car made 382rwhp 404rwt on a mustang dyno with a cobra intake has 14k miles on her running great

Wow, that gorgeous and nice numbers on a Mustang Dyno. Should be 400hp with a dynojet.

Those numbers still melt my brain every time I see them. For a Cobra intake/AFR 185 engine to be making 382/404 to the tire, something was definitely done right (plus maybe a little magic pixie dust that Rick hasn't told us about). Has it ever been on the drag strip?
