i think we have the wrong water pump on there, its v-belt and the pulley on the water pump sticks out farther then the other pulleys.

D9 is for a 1979 designed block. A C9 would be 1969. It sounds like an early 5.0 prior to the roller block. Normally found in early '80s vehicles.
