Pennzoil also works. I called Tremec on this issue. Pennzoil makes the GM Synchromesh. Mobil 1 is also recommended. They did not recommends Royal Purple but that was only due to the fact they had not tested it yet. I'm running Royal Purple in my 3550. I dont see Royal Purple making something that would not work across a wide range of transmissions but I don't blame Tremec for not recommending a fluid they had not yet tested either.

i usually use conventional ATF, this last time out i put in some pennzoil syncomesh. not fully convinced on it, especially for 8 bucks a bottle. next time i'm going back to conventional ATF.
