Hey guys. I have an 04 GT which will be getting a FRPP roots style blower strapped on soon. What I need to know is which fuel pump to get. I'm probably going to be around 300 RWHP in the near future, and over time will add more mods to an end goal of around 400RWHP. I want a fuel pump that is more or less a drop-in, swap replacement and will cover these power levels. I've heard things about a SVT focus pump, and the GT supercar pump, but don't know enough yet. Fill me in.:nice:

Yeah, I'll be sure to get the SVT version.
SB: While that is a choice setup, it's a little overkill with my current plans. Down the line, when i find some way to push my little blower to 500, that's the route I'll go. And I will find a way, whether it means porting the blower, sick heads and cam, a stroker, whatever it takes, I eventually want to be the only guy making 500/500 to the rear wheel on a FRPP roots blower. :nice:

I threw a bid at this one, it's Steeda's upgrade pump. Here's what they say about it: http://www.steeda.com/products/replacement_fuel_pump.php
That should be able to handle the roughly 100HP I'll be adding. By the time I'm done with the car I plan on needing a Cobra setup, but I think for now with a bolt on car with exhaust running 6 psi through the FRPP blower with meth and 30# injectors, that thing should do the trick. Opinions?

Maybe start out with the SVT Focus fuel pump, and add the Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump later if needed?

I am going to run the gt pump with a bap and wiring upgrade. plenty how to's if search here and other sites. the modification necessary to run the gt pump is not hard or anything and it puts out more lph than the svt focus and cheaper too. this setup should be good for around 475rwhp,beyond that you will need dual pumps etc. Right now with mods in sig.I am maxed out on the stock pump with a bap. if you plan to run a single pump,I suggest a bap also

How difficult is installing a BAP? Does it need electronics, or is it just an "on/off" application?
real simple to hook -up,it is electronic. some people wire it so it's on all the time,I run mine with the hobb's switch provided so it comes on at about 2 psi boost. go to Kenne bells website and you should information there

I was just looking at it. So could I combine that with the Steeda pump and get it done? I wouldn't mind doing that, because the BAP I'd use would also be compatible with a stock 03 Cobra style setup that I may go to down the line when I get heads and cams and such.
