What gas do you use?

I run Sunoco 100 Octane Racing Fuel with my Kenne Bell race tune :D
Erin got me hooked (damn you) and know I am addicted to that smell after firing it up. Love it!!!

"That smell. That gasoline smell. Nothing else smells like that. Smells like victory."

87 Octance BP gas is the preferred gas for a stock tune on a Mustang GT. I have heard that is may be beneficial to use premium gas every other fillup though from one of the dealer Service Techs.

With a tune, you can run a lower octane, but not vice versa. Before you load your 89 or 91 octane tune, run the car down to where it says 0 miles to empty and perhaps a handfull more miles. Then fill up with the higher grade and load your new matching tune right in the parking lot.

I heard the same thing but my best density altitude corrected 1/4 mile time came with a 91 Bamachips tune and 92 octane BP gas. However, the night I did my 13.390 sec 1/4 mile, the first part of the night I ran 92 BP gas on a 91 Bamachips tune and my best time was 13.464. Then around 8:45pm, I got low on gas, left the track and went to a nearby gas station and added some 91 Octance gas so that I could run the last hour. That is when my times dropped and I got the 13.390 but the weather conditions also got better the last hour.

Someone asked this question on the Superchips forum about running slightly higher octane than the performance tune and the forum leader said it wouldn't hurt it and could boost performance.

Nothing but Chevron 91. I have a Diablo tuner so 91 is required with my tune setting. Stock + 91 Octane = Not much performance difference or much at all in that matter. Get a tuner!

It sure is, but we don't have any texico stations left around here. There's still some down south that I pass on my way to W,Va, but here in Ohio, there rare if at all now days.
