Before I start not caring about my fuel economy I'm going to buy a honda as a DD, then I won't care quite as much about my mustangs gas mileage. But until then it really does matter to me, I mean who wants to spend like $45-50 on gas a week driving back and forth to work and school?

If you do get another mode of transportation, like the Honda...I say go with a steeper gear, assuming you have some higher rpm to go with it
