what happens when maf cal. doesnt match injectors?

just like the title says....also, can 94-95 cars use the pro-m's meant for 87-93, and just get them re-calibrated?

87-93 Mass Air meters will work on 94-95 Stangs. I got a 77mm Pro M on my car that came off a 90 LX. If the maf cal. does not match the injectors then your car will run rich/lean.

I did that before and the car ran like chit.

I didnt realize the the cobra computer coverted the signal from the 19lb Maf over for the 24lb injectors. The car would run "OK" at high rpms, but absolute chit when idleing.

Just for interests sake when I was dynoing my car I tried taking the 24lb mass out and replacing it with a 19 lb mass. The car lost 40 rwhp.
