What head gaskets to buy for AFR heads

I am looking to get new head gaskets and lower intake gaskets for my car. They are AFR heads and Edelbrock lower. I know Fel-Pro makes good gaskets but which ones to buy. Also, I am needing the upper to lower intake gasket for a performer intake. Where can I find one of those.

Fel-Pro 1011-2 for the head gasket (FPP-10112 at Summit), Fel-Pro 1250 for the intake. You can also get the M-9439-A302 intake gasket, it's a re-badged Fel-Pro 1250, but for less money.

Also, is it suggested to put rtv around the coolant passages of the head. I'm trying to find out how coolant got into my lifter valley.

I've never put RTV around the coolant passages, and I've never had a leak.

DON'T PUT RTV ON THE COOLANT PASSAGES! You will be wondering why your car is over heating later. It will clog it up.

So what would be causing the coolant to get into the lifter valley.

I don't care for Felpro 1011-2s, they are too thick which makes them more likely to blow. I am running O-ringed aluminum heads with stock replacement Felpro gaskets with no problem.
