Save your money for better quality heads. Both those you listed have "thin" decks. The 1st says they have .200 thicker, but in actuality they're .200 thinner than US made heads. (.400 vs US heads which run from .626 to .750) Notice on those "thick deck heads, the seller conviently omits the manufacturer's name. You can find good quality US made heads, which aren't the highest flowing, but will still give the motor a wake up call for $600-800 (used heads) I bought a set of GT40Y's last month for $600 and at the same time ran across a set of Edelbrock RPM heads for the same price. Be patient, half the fun is the hunt. Check the classifieds here, there's always good stuff for good prices in it.

Also check out "Thumper's heads" he sells here in the classifieds, neverheard anything bad about his work. His heads are ported E7's.

heads

I found my TFS heads with the proper length pushrods on another classified board. I don't want to mention another site in this post but I would be happy to forward it to you in a PM. There are always good deals on aluminum heads and plenty of them. Here are mine that I paid $900 for. You could save your dough and buy the new edelbrock pro port cnc heads.
