If I am to leave out the spring isolators on my drag springs? I know of ppl who have done this before to adjust for a lower ride height. Will this hurt the spring seats or control arms or are the isolator bushings just for noise reduction. I'd put them in but i cant get the springs compressed far enough to allow for the bushings so I put them in without. Thanks for the help.

I think its just for noise... You should be fine.

it will also make the ride a little harsher, most likely not enough to notice

well i had mine out till now i just baught a new set since all of a sudden my car is sitting 1.5" lower than it used to (new system) i never had em before, you hear alot of squeeking and poping, but i also have a spool so there's more stress on mine, no problem though i didnt even know they were out till i experiance this problem im dealing with now

The ride will be A LOT harsher. With "C" springs, instead of bump, it was SMASH and all the force was transmitted to the cabin. That cant be good for anything.

The lamers bus is funny cause I actually saw one this weekend. No, it's not a photochop, they actually have a bus comapny called lamers! www.golamers.com. I was laughing so hard I had to pull over. I had tears running down my face

About the "C" springs with no isolators, lets say my friends are used to smoke pouring into the cabin, creaks and groans from the suspension, being thrown around inside the car and they actually complained about the ride.

On the bright side, on the rears, it's easy enough to put the isolators back on if you cahnge your mind. On the front, it's a pain.

Lemme inject another argument if I may. If you SLAM your car like you plan, you will have bumpsteer, tire rubbing on the top, tire rubbing against the front of the fender splashguard, bottoming out and your exhaust will be scraped and smashed by every elevated manhole cover and debris. This is from experience.

Leave the slamming to the asian kids and their accords and nissan pickups. Leave yourself some ground clearance.

This is 150% true, it happens every time i drive, i dont have rubbing in the front but my x pipe has about ohhh 3 inches b/t it and the ground, and dont ask me how much when there's two people in the car, a little dip in the road will send sparks everywhere at speeds, and speedbumps, hell you have to turn around and go the other way, im in the process of bringing mine back up b/c my pionion angle got messsed up when i threw my system in. low is nice but its a pain after a while, i have steeda sport lowering springs w/no isolators.

I dont have the spring isolators in the front control arms. I have drag springs and it helped the front end to be the same height as the back.

I debated it and am glad I did it.
