with 18x9's you should really have 265/35/18 in front. I have them on my car and have no rim protection. 255/35/18 would be worse. To keep the same diameter as stock in back (for the speedometer), do 275/35/18.. of course you can't rotate with 265 front and 275 rear, but it just won't look that great with 265 in back.. Like i said, the rim lip sticks out running 265/35 on an 18x9.. I don't think it will put the speedo out though. It just gets the speed from the rear diff I believe.

For a 9 inch rim, 285/35 is as wide as you should go for the back, but if you want exact tire diameter to stock in back, 275/35 is what you want.
My 18x9's have a 26mm offset, and when I take a full lock turn I get some rubbing with the 265's (but not bad at all). Your rims are most likely 24mm offset, which means they are 2mm closer. 275's will get some more rub. did you read his post? he said he ordered 18x9's already.. 335's don't really help.
