my car club meets first and third saturdays, our next meeting is the 18th. at fire mountain grill. in clarksville tn. if you come you will meet an 04 terminator convertible that runs 10's every time. full interior, everything they come with. he drives it everywhere... it's his only car.

he even lets others in the club drive it occasionally. it sound like any other car, not even loud.
call me BS and visit him nov 18th.

edit:he uses 315's nittos for the street and slicks at the track.

with forced induction, running 10's and being streetable is not impossible. at Fun Ford Weekend once, i saw a 90-93ish black Fox body GT running in the true street class run a 8.55@15x.xmph! it sounded like it had atleast a 347 stroker in it and a loud ass turbo. the car fishtailed all the way down the track. i don't know if it had a full interior tho. the windows were tinted dark and i didn't get a chance to get up close. the outside looked stock except the hood.

Bill iv read of BONE stock down to the tires 2006 Z06 vettes going 11.3s. With DRs one guy went into the 11.1s. Still all stock, just different tires on like 18 inch wheels. Those cars are WICKED fast

My friend has a C5 Z06 and it runs an 11.3 on street tires, but it has some serious work to it (all N/A still) but cams, full exhaust, etc.

The key is safety. Would you feel comfortable driving in any weather in an 11 second car?

If you can drive a car into the 11's, you should be able to drive the car in some water/ice

i think its more of a mph thing these days. an avg "fast" street car is a 120mph trapping vehicle. i have more friends in orlando with 120mph cars than i do with 105mph cars. they are a dime a dozen

as far as my car goes, i dont drive it everyday(although i have in the last year), but it rolls around on 17" wheels with bias ply et streets out back. it doesnt have a/c, but that is just a manifold line and a recharge away. it always has a full stereo and all the power options. i personally dont feel like its "fast"

my buddy has an 03 GT with nothing but a KB 1.7 @ 9psi and he is running 12.1's at 120mph on street tires!! it still has stock geras, cats and everything. the only power adder is the blower. it is FAST to me. i have over twice the money in my car as he does and all i can pull on street tires is a 12.7 @ 113 mph.

9psi and 120mph....thats a little much for a bonestock setup. there must be some weight reduction or great weather or a combo of both
